When mankind learned to fly faster than the speed of light, it became possible to see into the past. The main thing is to calculate the right direction and distance to fly away.

And the question immediately arose - who would be the first to use this discovery - scientists historians or the entertainment amusement ride business.

Yes, when we learn to fly faster than the speed of light - we will have the opportunity to learn the answers to the questions of the past that interest us now. But these questions themselves will have absolutely no meaning at that time.

But we need a way to instantly accelerate to the speed of light or faster than the speed of light. Like a jump: here we are standing, pushing and immediately flying at a speed greater than the speed of light.

This is necessary in order to protect ourselves from collision with various material obstacles on the way. After all, particles moving at the speed of light or faster than the speed of light will pass through any material obstacles.

In sci-fi movies they often show something like this “jump” - here is a ship hanging in place, a flash and it's gone, gone. But there they invented different subspaces, wormholes, wormholes, etc. Basically, you can call it whatever you want. But the basis of all this is exactly the flight at a speed higher than the speed of light and instantaneous acceleration to this speed.
